bueno espero que les sirva a la banda en general...

there are a few points to remember when you make an oral presentation.

PLAN YOUR PRESENTATION

+ Structure your presentation, include an appealing introduction, use facts or examples to support your main points, remember to conclude your presentation.

+ Write your presentation on cue cards. however, only write down key words and phrases. if you write your entire presentation on cue cards, you could end up getting confused and losing your place

+ Rehearse! Do not experct to ad-lib a formal presentation, Your teacher will not be impressed if you must frequently pause to think of something to say.

+ Dont memorize your presentation or you´ll sound too unnatural, it is better to speak to the audience and occasionally refer to your notes than to rattle off a memorized text.

+ Time yourself, before you give your report, ensure that your oral presentation respects the limit your teacher has given you.

GIVE YOUR PRESENTATION

+ Look at your audience, dont look only at the teacher

+ Use notes to guide yourself through the presentation, don´t read.

+ Use formal language, don´t say, stuff, it sucks, etc.

+ When the assignment requires it, bring in visual or audio supports, this can make your presentation more interesting.

Good Lucky.
